How does it work?
We will have an initial telephone consultation free of charge to discuss what has bought you to counselling. It is an opportunity for you to get to know me and ask some questions to give you an understanding of how we will work together.
Counselling sessions are usually weekly for 50 minutes. How many sessions we have together will be negotiated and regularly reviewed.
Confidentiality
Seeking counselling can seem daunting and talking about your inner most worries with someone you have just met may not be easy to do. All our sessions are entirely confidential and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists (BACP) following their ethical framework.

I see a supervisor on a regular basis for my continued professional development, to ensure I am working ethically and safely. I will not use your name when I speak about our work.
